Photos from day 1 of Morocco week in Year 2. We have been trying Moroccan foods such as couscous, vegetarian tagine, houmous and mint tea. We have also been researching Morocco online, collaging flags and making Moroccan lanterns.

Year 2 children have been getting creative before exploring the story of creation from Genesis.
This is Year 2 thinking about gifts at Christmas and creating their own gift for a family member. They made seasonal advent calendars which reveal Christian values that their families can share at home.
This is a project that will did in RE and DT; the children made gingerbread and sold it at the Christmas fair to raise money for buying local children in need Christmas presents. We wrote shopping lists together and wrapped the presents to be sent. The children raised £60 and bought four children £15 of gifts each.
