Year 2 – Christmas Gifts and Advent Calendar
This is Year 2 thinking about gifts at Christmas and creating their own gift for a family member. They made seasonal advent calendars which reveal Christian values that their families can share at home.
Year 2 Christmas Gingerbread Project
This is a project that will did in RE and DT; the children made gingerbread and sold it at the Christmas fair to raise money for buying local children in need Christmas presents. We wrote shopping lists together and wrapped the presents to be sent. The children raised £60 and bought four children £15 of gifts each.
EYFS Planting Sunflowers
In Reception we have been planting sunflower seeds. We discussed that seeds need soil, water and sunlight to grow. We are excited to see how tall they get!
